Cathrin Lange looks forward to a series of special musical highlights in the 2026/27 season.
At the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, she will appear as the soprano soloist in Hans Gál’s impressive cantata *De profundis*, Op. 50, for soloists, choir, and orchestra. She will perform under the baton of Gregor Meyer, joined by the GewandhausChor, the Youth Choir of the Clara-Wieck-Gymnasium Zwickau, and the Robert Schumann Philharmonic.
Next, she will perform Joseph Haydn’s *The Creation*—a work of timeless brilliance—in Augsburg with the Bavarian Chamber Philharmonic.
In Uelzen, Cathrin Lange will once again collaborate with the St. Marien Kantorei; the program there features Karl Jenkins’s major oratorio, *The Peacemakers*.
During the Advent season, she will make multiple appearances performing Johann Sebastian Bach’s *Christmas Oratorio*, including a performance with the Bachchor Stuttgart under the direction of KMD Prof. Jörg-Hannes Hahn.
Another season highlight follows in March: Bach’s *St. Matthew Passion* will be performed at the Berlin Philharmonie in collaboration with Choralspace.
