Domspatzen, Jazz & Soul

A choir meets a jazz quartet and a classical soprano. The Regensburg Cathedral Choir (Regensburger Domspatzen), the Bastian Walcher Quartet, and soprano Cathrin Lange have joined forces for this collaboration. The diverse ensembles complement one another beautifully, with interaction and improvisation going hand in hand. The program features sacred and secular choral works, Baroque arias reimagined with a jazz flair, and original compositions. Kathrin Giehl serves as the musical director.
